Dr. Velu serves at National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Science Foundation (NSF), Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP), Florida Department of Health (FLDOH) and American Heart Association (AHA) study sections. He is actively reviewing grant proposals contributing to funding decisions on research projects in chemistry, drug discovery, and biomedical sciences.
He also reviews grants for international funding agencies including UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), Medical Research Council (MRC-UK), BMRC (Singapore), ITF (Hong Kong), ISF/DIPI (Indonesia), and IUSSTF (Indo-US).
